Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all and God Bless!  It has been quite the whirlwind adjusting to life at the house.  Everything seems to take so long, but we are slowly getting the whole family involved and are becoming a bit more efficient.  We've also had quite a few visitors with it being the holiday week and all...
Jacoby is getting stronger each day.  She was able to tolerate about 10 hours in her chair yesterday and continues to strengthen the muscles in her arms.  She was able to get off all anti-spasm medications a few days ago and is tolerating the spasms she does get just fine.
She had a good time with the kids from her youth group the other night and we had a nice little New Years Eve get together with some extended family and a few neighbors.  She ventured outside and around the ball fields by our house for the first time today.  It was a little chilly out, but she had a good time.  Nice to get some fresh air...

  1. Hi jacoby. I was on crystals with you when you were in level 5. My name is sarah heaton. I just wanted to let you know that youare an inspiration to me. I am so proud of what you have accoplished and that you were able to keep your faith in god. You are a beautiful girl and you can accomplish anything you put your mind to.

  2. Dear Jacoby,

As a former gymnast, stories like yours teach me to value life so much more and inspire me not to give up on any of the challenges we must face everyday as human beings. I will follow your blog as a reminder that it is possible to be strong even during the darkest times.

    Best wishes from Brazil,
