Working hard...

Jacoby continues to work hard during her PT sessions.  She has gained a great deal of stamina when sitting up and balancing on her own.  A big thank you to her gym friend, Mary, for coming over and helping out during the sessions.  We think Jacoby works even harder with Mary helping out!
Also, a big thank you to all those that hosted and participated in fundraising this last weekend.  Jacoby's sisters attended both the "Just Dance" and "Zumba" for Jacoby events and had a blast at both!

Thanks to Sonja and Katherine for sending "Brad" a new hat, scarf, and blanket!

  1. Jacoby, you are such an inspiration to every gymnast and even to those who have never done gymnastics. You show determination, perseverance, and hard work. Everyone should adopt your values. Keep your head up and always remember that there are so many people that care, believe, and are inspired by you. I know I'm not the only one who looks up to you. You are a true gymnast, Jacoby! <3

  4. Thanks for the updates. Keep up the hard work. These first few months were the toughest for me. Someone just sent me a link about a woman who was paralyzed, and wrote a book about her first two years. I haven't read the book yet, but it looks pretty good/educational. I'm still a sucker for anything written by someone who was paralyzed though. Anyways, I'm glad you all are doing well. Cheers.
