Draggin'...

Yesterday took its toll on Jacoby.  She had such a fun time with visitors, but man was she tired and sore today!  She spent most of the morning getting adjustments made to her wheelchair and pretty much shocked everybody with her driving speed... well, she is a teenager after all!  Had some success working on feeding herself in the afternoon but still needs to gain a little more shoulder strength for it to happen smoothly.
We just want to thank everyone once again for all the letters of encouragement and service to our family.  Nothing gets Jacoby out of the dumps like reading some Bible verses, cards, and letters.  So, thank you all so much.

Psalm 16:8  I keep my eyes always on the LORD.  With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

Please no visitors until Saturday afternoon and Sunday.  Therapy during the week takes up the whole day and is exhausting!  Thank you for understanding.

  2. Great job on the driving! That shoulder strength will come soon enough, especially since you're a very hard worker. Keep up the amazing work. Stay trong, Jacoby!

  3. You are in my thoughts.
I really wish you will continue to see your progress and I hope your dream will come true soon: I really hope that as soon as possible you can walk again. I know it could seem a dream or something impossible but impossible is nothing.

Don't give up. You're great and you're very inspirational.
    Stay strong.

  5. Hi Jacoby, I am a mother of a gymnast in Sandy, Utah. Sage came home from tonight and told me about your current challenge. I want you to know we are praying for you here, too. You have the most beautiful smile, and I can see how strong your spirit is through that. What a wonderful family you have and so much support, but it goes beyond those you know. Gob bless you, beautiful girl, and may he grant you continued healing, peace, and strength.
